(it was 35 years ago today) 3 décembre 1971: Un feu se déclare dans le casino de Montreux, en Suisse, pendant un concert de Frank Zappa. De cet évènement résulte un des plus célèbre morceaux de l'histoire du rock. _________________ On peut rire de tout, mais (hélas) pas avec tout le monde.

DEEP PURPLE devait enregistrer au Casino de Montreux, mais le 03/12/1971, durant le concert de Franck Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, un crétin a tiré avec un pistolet à fusée de détresse, détruisant entièrement le lieu. Il n'y eu, heureusement, aucune victime, mais cette vision de l'épaisse fumée se reflétant sur le lac a inspiré DP. Comme c'est dit dans la chanson, le groupe a finalement installé un studio mobile au Grand Hôtel (ils ont squatté un étage complet), la suite appartient à l'Histoire ... _________________ On peut rire de tout, mais (hélas) pas avec tout le monde.
