Inscription: 14 Mar 2004 20:49 Messages: 25655 Localisation: Cambrai	Apres plus de 25 ans, Maiden quitte Sanctuary tout comme son fondateur Rod Smallwood, une page se tourne et je vois mal Sanctuary survivre bien longtemps comme ça : SANCTURAY Group a annoncé qu' Iron Maiden n'avait pas souhaité renouveler leur contrat avec la companie. Rod SmallWood, co-fondateur de Sanctuary à la fin 70's; a découvert Iron maiden en 1979, et etait devenu leur manageur jusqu'a ce jour. Il quitte lui aussi Sanctuary group, et continue de manager Iron Maiden via sa nouvelle compagnie: Phantom Music Management SmallWood restera quand meme en tant que Consultant chez Sanctuary pour une période initiale de 6 mois. Par la même occasion, Sanctuary reste en contrat avec Maiden concernant les tournées (contrats à tres long terme !!), le merchandising, et a signé un nouvel agrement pour le groupe concernant les USA, pour AMOLAD. Sanctuary possede la majorité des droits du catalogue de Maiden pour les USA. Sanctuary continuera à gerer et à sortir du vieux materiel (ré-édition + best-of americain) en coordination avec Maiden, mais tout en restant sur l'ancien materiel. Frank Presland de Sanctuary: Nous sommes bien sur triste de voir partir Rod et Maiden, mais nous ne pouvons faire front aux projets à long terme de MAiden + le merchandising ainsi que le Label americain. Maiden est renommé comme l'un des plus gros groupe, au monde, dans tout les aspects de merchandising, avec leur mascotte bien distinctive EDDIE, t-shirts commemoratif, porté par tous les fans dans le monde. Ainsi que les t-shirts reprenant les poschettes d'albums. Notre Label est Fier d'avoir poussé ce nouvel album dans les Tops 10 pour la premiere fois. Au même moment ou Maiden accentu leurs tournées et Albums aux USA. Le catalogue de Maiden a toujours ete nos meilleurs ventes aux USA, et nous esperons que cela continuera. La séparation avec Rod, ainsi que Maiden, est entierement amicale. Nous somme également enchanté que Rod reste en tant que Consultant. Tout Sanctuary Group leur souhaitons le meilleur pour le futur. ROD SMALLWOOD: « C'est avec un peu de tristesse que je quitte SAnctuary, mais il etait temps, dans ma carriere, de faire un pas en plus, et avec la stature internationale de Maiden, il me semblait resonnable que je me concentre totalement au developpement de Maiden dans les nombreux secteurs des affaires. Nous laissons, Maiden et moi-même, beaucoup d'amis à Sanctuary, et nous leur souhaitons beaucoup de succés. Ca tient plus de l'animation typée jeux vidéos genre Sims ou Final Fantasy pour les mouvements du mec qui court que du vrai film d'animation (cela dit les paysages sont biens foutus).
