Je croyais que c'était l'artwork façon Matrix qui avait été conservé? Bien que le designe était osé, au moins ça ressemblait toujours à Vic...Là franchement, je suis étonné...

Enfin bon, yen a plein des bons albums avec des pochettes de merde, Mustaine a eu envie de changer, c'est je pense la meilleure des choses à retenir de ceci.

Sinon le gigantour, putain, quelle affiche! J'suis deg de pas pouvoir ça, Arch Enemy, Opeth, Overkill, Into Eternity (sisi, j'insiste, très bon groupe) et Megadeth dans la même journée, j'en rêve!

MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine has told Gary Graff of Billboard.com that the band's upcoming album, entitled "United Abominations", has been pushed back to an early 2007 release through Roadrunner Records.

"We're putting the finishing touches on it," Mustaine told Billboard.com. "We've got a little more work before it's finished, but it should be out some time next year."

The singer/guitarist says the album, which he's producing with Jeff Balding, "has a lot of variation on it. It's got some surprises, but there's a really old-school vein to it, I would say." The group has been careful not to rush the album, either, holding sessions in London, Los Angeles and Nashville since earlier this year.

"We're taking our time with this one," Mustaine says. "It's a great feeling to make a record and not have our feet held to the fire. One of my heroes growing up was KISS, but they really frustrated me 'cause they would put out a record just about every year. I couldn't figure that out. I pretty much have a cycle of about 18 months to 24 months between records. I just can't put them out any quicker than that and feel comfortable about them."

Parce que franchement, le peu que j'en ai vu, elle est affreuse.
Après il a filtré un extrait d'une quarantaine de seconde sur une compil Roadrunner, et le peu qu'il y a, ça dépote pas mal.
Même si je doute que tout l'album soit du même acabit.

Plus j'écoute The System has Failed, plus j'aime ce disque. Mustaine fait toujours preuve d'un sens de la composition assez torturé, presque malsain, et a toujours la gnaque ! Personnellement, c'est un de mes préférés de Megadeth !

pour moi c'est bien le gros défaut de cet album, les compos sont bonnes pour la plus part, mais ça manque horriblement de hargne, c'est bien trop lisse!!!

The System Has Failed nécessite des bonnes écoutes, attentives, pour bien "rentrer dedans", un super album!

Pour Julien, je suis bien d'accord, je m'en suis simplement aperçu un an plus tard ! Ce disque mérite bien plus de soutien que le vilain The World Needs A Hero qui fut éhontément encensé, à tort !

hey, mais j'aime bcp l'album, seulement la hargne je ne l'entend pas, c'est très bien foutu, bourré de très bons arrengements, des refrains très pop qui font mouches, mais que ce soit dans le chant ou dans les riffs ça manque de peps pour moi, à la limite back in the day pete le feu, mais c'est tout...
