Fireworks par contre ia à peine la moitié qui passe, le reste n'étant que du Rock assez banal.

Sinon j'écouterais cet Angra, Temple of Shadows m'a plus ou moins réconcillié avec le groupe.

@TAOM : J'ai découvert rebirth à travers le dvd live en bonus de "temple" est franchement ça linéaire et fade. J'ai quand même acheté l'album et ma déception c'est considéré : c'est du speed mélo banal, mou, avec une petite touche latine. Je ne sauve vraiment pas grand chose de cet album, "unholy wars" peu être. Je trouve le chant de Falaschi assez faiblard, heuresement sur "temple" il a 100 fois plus de patate, "spread your fire " ça décape, et les morceau plus "prog" sont bien plus inspiré que tous ce qu'on trouve sur "rebirth".

De toutes façons Angra c'était mieux avant.

Ben non, DS, absolument pas d'accord. Je me donne le droit de ré-écouter Temple avant d'être catégorique, mais franchement ia pas photo pour moi.

De toute façon Angra ça fait 7 ans que ça n'existe plus

Pour moi ça existe depuis 2001, à peu de choses près...

Pour moi y a eu un blanc de 7 ans entre Holy et Temple.

Y en pas un qui a le même calendrier là, grave...

pour moi y a eu un trou en 1998, avant que ça reparte du bon pied des deux côtés

OVERVIEW:


Angra is currently putting the very final touches in its new album. The record is the highlight of the band’s 15th anniversary celebrations.

Recordings were held in two different studios. Aquiles Priester did his sessions at the House Of Audio studios in Germany, under the guidance of long time producer Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69). After these sessions, Dennis flew down to Brazil to record all other parts with Kiko Loureiro, Rafael Bittencourt, Felipe Andreoli and Edu Falaschi. The so called Brazilian sessions took place at the Via Musique Estúdios, in São Paulo. Thiago Bianchi was the assistant producer. Dennis is currently mixing the material in Germany.

Musically, the new album depicts a much heavier Angra. It doesn’t mean the usual style of the band is lost, though. In fact, all tunes still rely on the influence of Brazilian music and there’s a lot of percussion in the arrangements, several orchestral parts, etc. The songwriting process saw the participation of Rafael, Kiko, Felipe and Edu, so the album is quite diversified. Contrary to the groundbreaking “Temple Of Shadows”, this is not a concept album.

The artwork is again another amazing piece of art courtesy of French, Portuguese born artist Isabel de Amorim.

Angra is also resuming the “Temple Of Shadows” tour, which accounted for more than 120 dates overall. The very final show happened on August 19th in the Brasil Metal Union festival. This fest was a reunion of the main Brazilian heavy metal bands and Angra was special guest in it for the very first time.

The first very big event of the next world tour is also very close. Angra will play in the Loud Park Festival, to be held in Tokyo, Japan, on October 14th and 15th. Besides Angra, other confirmed names in the festival include Slayer, Megadeth, Napalm Death, Backyard Babies and Ministry.

Vivement que ça sorte mais par contre j'aime pas du tout la pochette.

La pochette est pas terrible, mais j'ai hâte pour l'album !

C'est con à dire, mais moi aussi, je ressors Temple of shadows beaucoup plus régulièrement que je ne l'aurai cru
