Coming from South Africa to the UK, it was a dream-come-true to see Covenant live at Infest 05!! – an entry from the COVENANT guest book that proves: this band is a phenomenon. Fans have travelled from far and wide to see them live. For more than a decade, COVENANT have been at the very top of the alternative electronic music scene - and their fan base continues to grow with every year
2003 to 2005 were marked by numerous headlining shows at international festivals. For the first time, there was also a (sold-out) Australian tour, followed by all sorts of other activities: remixes for other artists; the band’s involvement in an international all-star band for a cancer charity; their hz project, featuring Joakim’s joint venture with Ronan Harris (VNV Nation): electronic interpretations of music by Johann Sebastian Bach. This stylish band from Sweden also contributed the soundtrack for the fashion design exhibition “In Fashion” at their hometown of Helsingborg - followed by a concert. COVENANT continued to sound out their own boundaries - while working on material for their sixth album, Skyshaper.
An initial harbinger of the new album is the dancefloor anthem, Ritual Noise, out in January 2006 on Synthetic Symphony/SPV, which COVENANT have already presented to a wildly enthusiastic audience. The Skyshaper European Tour, supported by electro-pop act Client - discovered by Depeche Mode’s Andy Fletcher - and electro whizz-kids Rotersand, is scheduled for February 2006.
Line-up:
Eskil Simonsson – Lead Vocals, Computers, Vocal Noise
Joakim Montelius – Keyboards, Computers, Vocal Noise
Clas Nachmanson – Keyboards, Computers, Vocals

Non justement, et ce topic n'a pas sa place ici.
Covenant, c'est de l'électro pur jus. (c'est d'ailleurs à cause d'eux que l'autre est devenu The Kovenant)
