Le groupe islandais qui donnait à ses débuts dans un black/viking metal et qui a évolué vers un genre de Post-Metal/Rock va sortir son nouvel album le 29 août.

‘Ótta’ will be released as a collector’s Digibox including the album on Digipak, a 3-track bonus CD entitled ‘Tilberi’, a flag, a metal pin, and a patch. Various coloured vinyl editions (including a trigatefold LP with ‘Tilberi’ as bonus third disc) and merchandising will also be available. All formats can be pre-ordered from the Season of Mist shop .
A 2-track EP was released earlier this month as a Season of Mist e-shop exclusive . Including non-album track “Til Valhallar” and a radio mix of “Ótta”, this 7” vinyl EP is available in black edition and silver edition, both strictly limited to 500 copies. There are few copies left, don’t miss out!

Ce groupe a de plus en plus de succès, il n'y a qu'à voir leur place sur l'affiche du Hellfest cette année comparé à il y a 2 ans (les Islandais jouaient sous la Temple en même temps qu'Emperor vers 22h alors qu'en 2012 c'était vers 14h) et aussi le fait qu'ils tournent maintenant en tête d'affiche.

otta est un super album je trouve, pas loin d'être l'album de l'année d'ailleurs.
