Je les attendais pas à ce niveau à leur retour. Ils se durcissent un peu, on a un peu moins de clavier, mais sinon c'est bien un album de Rhapsody, et j'y reviens avec plaisir. J'espère que le suivant sera du même niveau (paraît que l'EP était pas génial, je peux pas l'attester mais j'ai pas de retour positif en mémoire). _________________ Mon coq est bien plus gros que le tien !

Tom Hess, the guitar virtuoso well known for his unique guitar skills and for being the creator of the famous online guitar courses, is now officially a member of Italian symphonic metal masters RHAPSODY OF FIRE. Tom recorded most of the rhythm-guitar parts and two guitar solos on the new RHAPSODY OF FIRE album, "From Chaos To Eternity", to be released on June 17 via Nuclear Blast Records. Dark Schtroumph Skeleton In The Forum Inscription: 14 Mar 2004 23:12 Messages: 9025 Localisation: Savigny sur orge (91)	Ils n'ont jamais sonné autant black metal sympho...ils sont assez convaincants dans ce genre, mais ce n'est pas trop ma tasse de thé. Ce n'est pas vers ça que j'aurais souhaité qu'ils évoluent.

SML66 Heavy Metal Lawyer Inscription: 14 Mar 2004 13:10 Messages: 1194 Localisation: Dunkerque	Quel album !!! Et la reprise du thème de la Sonate de Beethoven est un enchantement ! Ceux qui regrettent l'évolution du groupe peuvent s'écouter SOEL en boucle (et dire qu'il a vieilli). Ceux qui n'ont jamais aimé le film score metal peuvent écouter le dernier Obscura et le dernier EP de Between The Buried And Me en simultané (pour plus de cérébral et de surprise). Pour ma part, je laisse au repos le reste de ma CDthèque et je rejoins l'éternité extraite du chaos !

Il s'agit du 4e mouvement de la Sonate n°1. Celle là même que je fredonnais quand ma femme la jouait au piano. Autant dire que ce fut une bonne surprise.

Je comprendrais d'ailleurs jamais pourquoi SOEL2 est autant décrié... Sinon je n'ai rien retenu du EP Cold embrace of fear.

Bon par contre il était un peu tout seul dans son coin et j'aurais bien fait l'échange avec le morceau titre de "Frozen Tears" qui avait un peu un refrain en mousse. Alors par contre de ce que j'ai écouté sur le tout dernier ça n'a pas l'air mal, mais je trouve que le groupe sonne vraiment cheapos sur les arrangements depuis leur retour. Bon je sais les guitares y'a que ça de vrai et tout mais je préférerais cent fois le retour de la petite section à cordes que cette soupe de synthés. Et puis bon ça reste un élément important de la musique de Rhapso. Je trouve aussi que SOEL 2 est un peu surplombé actuellement. okay il est pas parfait, y'a des longueurs etc, mais y'a aussi de bonnes chansons. _________________ zut, qu'esse j'ai foutu avec les balises encore ?

Le "divorce" d'Alex Staropoli (claviers) et de Luca Turilli (guitare) voit le premier continuer sous le nom de Rhapsody Of Fire, en compagnie du chanteur Fabio Lione, de Tom Hess et de Alex Holzwarth. Quant au fameux guitariste transalpin, il réutilisera le nom de Rhapsody et se produira notamment aux côtés de Dominique Leurquin, Patrice Guers et... Alex Holzwarth, batteur qui n'aurait donc pas réussi à choisir entre sa maman et son papa. Vous n'avez pas tout compris ? Les 2 derniers albums tournaient en rond, je suis sur que le groupe avait déjà décidé de splitté avant la sortie du dernier album. Turilli a prouvé qu'en solo il pouvait dire des choses intéressantes, je suis curieux de voir ce que peut faire Staropolli sans lui. Je ne suis pas étonné que Lione ait choisi le camp de Staropolli, Turilli n'a pas toujours été tendre avec lui dans ses interviews. Quant à Holzwarth, il est juste employé par le groupe je crois? il peut très bien joué dans les 2.
