Dark Schtroumph Skeleton In The Forum Inscription: 14 Mar 2004 23:12 Messages: 9025 Localisation: Savigny sur orge (91)	Entre Restless and wild et Russian Roulette j'opte pour le premier, de peu, car les gros classique de Restless sont quand même supérieur à ceux de Russian. Et si Restless est effectivement très hétérogène, j'ai toujours également trouvé que la deuxième face de Russian, enfin surtout tout ce qui suit Aiming high, est nettement en-dessous de la premiere. Pour la carrière d'UDO : Animal House c'est du Accept en baisse d'inspiration (l'album a été composé par Accept), y'a de bon titres mais aussi du déchet. Le suivant, Mean Machine, est dans la même lignée, en plus musclé et plus inspiré. Rien que pour "We're history" il vaut largement le coup. Le meilleur disque reste sont 3ème, Faceless World, beaucoup plus mélodique, y'a même du clavier (mais ça n'est pas du FM ni du US, la démarche n'est pas aussi grossière que pour le Eat the heat d'Accept même si les véilité commercial sont claire), il est vraiment très bon, c'est son album le plus vendu. Ce sont ses trois albums essentiels. Pour la suite de sa carrière, y'a à boire et à manger, en général il sort un bon album sur deux, y'a beaucoup de pilotage automatique. Bref c'est vraiment pour les fans d'UDO. Des albums comme Holy et Thunderball me paraissent quand même au-dessus du lot, très intéressant donc pour les fans d'ACCEPT et de gros heavy.

The as-yet-untitled CD — which will mark the recording debut of the band's new lead singer, Mark Tornillo (ex-tout QUICK) — will be recorded at Sneap's Backstage studio in Derbyshire, England starting on October 23. An early 2010 release is expected via an as-yet-undetermined record label. Commented Sneap: "We just had a week of pre-production in Nashville at castle Von Hoffmann [guitarist Wolf Hoffmann's home], working on vocal ideas and arrangements for seven new ACCEPT songs. Mark Tornillo is seriously on the money; actually, he reminds me a touch of David Wayne from METAL CHURCH crossbred with Bon Scott [AC/DC] — not a pretty mental image, I know, but it's fitting the music great. He's got his own thing going as well, of course, but comparisons are always the easiest way to describe something without hearing it." Quand on voit la prod du dernier Megadeth ou l'on a du mal a distinguer les riffs ça ne promet rien de bons. Et c'est quoi ces micros EMG sur la guitare de Wolf !!!! Il va avoir le son de monsieur tout-le-monde-dans-le-metal. Ca va sonner moderne (surement trop) et ça risque de ne pas forcement coller avec leur style, si toutefois ils perdurent la tradition du riff qui tue comme à la grande époque. Le son Accept c'est censé être tranchant comme un rasoir. Il ne manque plus que Wolf se branche dans un mesa boogie et la c'est le ponpon.

Accept est un excellent groupe avec un style bien à eux qui a sorti d'excellents albums, après le côté culte... Pour répondre à ta question pour "Restless And Wild", j'imagine (j'ai pas connu) que le simple fait de te prendre un "Fast As A Shark" dans la tronche à sa sortie en 1982 lorsque tu mets ton vinyl pour la première fois sur la platine rend le disque culte. Moi, je trouve juste que c'est un très bon album, assez mal produit, avec trois quatre pures tueries côtoyant des titres plus moyens. Peut-être en dessous de "Breaker" et ne valant pas "Balls To The Wall".

Le tee shirt de Peter Baltes m'a amusé, lui qui tenait tant à moderniser Accept dans les 90's
