Merci pour les références, en fait c'était plutôt ça que je visais. Ma culture hard rock est encore trop embryonnaire pour que je me lance dans ce genre de topics.

Je te ferai une liste quand je serai chez moi (là j'suis au boulot et c'est le désœuvrement mais sans mon fichier Excel j'aurais du mal).
En tout cas, ça me donnera une occasion de taper plusieurs fois le mot "Saxon".

Je suis étonné que t'aies pas mis les albums de Mercyful Fate, au passage.

Chouette liste, même à priori t'es plus axé FM que moi. Accept, Saxon et Riot font partie de ma liste "to listen urgently" que je n'ai encore pour ainsi dire jamais écoutés.

1- Oui, Restless & wild, y pue. Et oui "Fast as a shark" et "Princess of the dawn" sont super mais bon, ça sauve pas l'album, et pour accrocher à Accept n'importe quel autre peut faire l'affaire, autant pas citer le litigieux.
2- J'ai oublié "Don't break the oath" tout simplement parce que j'avais pas renseigné la date dans mon fichier Excel, donc il n'est pas apparu après le tri. C'est corrigé.
3- Wheels of steel plutôt que Strong arm of the law (qui est tout de même cité) parce que "Wheels of steel". Et que je peux pas mettre tous les Saxon en gras sinon on va me dire que hein, bon....
4- Si, y a bien un Suicidal Tendencies, How will I laugh tomorrow... when I can't even smile today.
5- Non, je ne suis pas spécialement FM (10 albums en 10 ans., à peu près autant que pour le thrash)
6- Slayer CDLM (spécial dédicace au Palmipède des Chiottes)

Pas de 'Somewhere in time' de Maiden ?...

Difficile de contenter tout le monde avec ce genre de listes. Heavy R. a essayé de résumer très succinctement sur ces quelques années les meilleurs albums ou tout du moins ceux qu'il trouve meilleurs.

On pourra toujours dire qu'il manque tel et tel album (genre un petit FATES WARNING par exemple) mais bon, je crois qu'il y a déjà pas mal d'essentiels (de best) dans ses listes. D'ailleurs, je suis totalement d'accord avec lui sur les albums qu'il a mis en gras.
Par contre, faudrait que je jette une oreille sur le disillusion de Loudness que je ne connais pas, le honeymoon Suite (idem, je ne connais pas du tout) et lme FISC de 1987.

Il est très bien ! Y'a quelques morceaux qui mériteraient d'être des classiques...

Et je suis d'accord avec toi pour les Fates Warning. Au moins Awaken The Guardian.

Comme je l'ai précisé, ce sont "mes" disques, pas "les" disques. Donc, non, pas de Somewhere in time .
Pour être objectif, il faudrait effectivement un Slayer, un Death, etc.
Mais pour le coup, je préfère mettre "mes" disques et ouvrir des pistes qui ne seront probablement pas ouvertes par d'autres plutôt que de viser une consensualité ou un point de vue historique qui passera sous silence quelques albums essentiels d'un genre aujourd'hui délaissé (glam / US ou FM par exemple).

Si Seo n'est pas là pour le faire, je veux bien m'occuper d'un battle années 80 sur le forum approprié. Du genre, chaque personne m'envoie par MP 3 noms d'album par année et je classe tout ça au bout d'une semaine.

Mais 'faut que ça intéresse du monde, histoire de ne pas mettre ça en place pour avoir 3 votants à la fin.

Je suis toujours là et ok pour le faire.
J'ai toujours mon modèle de fichier excel pour pouvoir organiser ça, donc si un battle 80 vous branche, on peut y aller.
