Oui...

http://www.thesparklelounge.com/
To coincide with the release of DEF LEPPARD's new album "Songs From The Sparkle Lounge" next week, the group's UK label has launched a new "Sparkle Lounge" microsite. TheSparkleLounge.com will give fans opportunities to listen to samples of the new album, watch the video for leadoff single "Nine Lives", listen to samples of the new album, win Guitar Hero III prizes, watch a trailer for the bonus DVD (UK only), and more.

DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott has told Australia's The Age that his band will next year join the exodus of established acts leaving big labels, exchanging their home of 30 years, Universal Music, for independent status, a lucrative touring agreement and online sales.
"If RADIOHEAD and the EAGLES can go off and do it on their own, that's an acceptable yardstick to measure our own chances by," reasoned Elliott.
Elliott and his bandmates aren't particularly bothered by the looming change. DEF LEPPARD has long been a closed shop, in which a collection of songwriters obsess over their craft in private and present a unified public face.
"We're painting the picture, this is our art. It might sound pretentious for the band that wrote 'Let's Get Rocked' to think that they're artistes, but it is our art," Elliott said. "It's what we do. We sit in the room, we look each other in the eye and we write a song. If people don't buy it then you didn't write the great song you thought you did."
