Je viens de voir sur le forum de nos amis de King's X France que l'enregistrement du nouvel album commencerait le 27 janvier prochain. Vala une bonne nouvelle... même si tout le monde s'en tape.

je l'avais lu mais bon j'ai senti que ça ne passionnerait pas les foules et que tu finirais par le lire dans le forum King's X, alors j'ai renoncé à le poster, c'est bien, tu y crois plus que moi

On se fait quand une disco commentée du groupe que personne ne lira?

Y a matière à faire en tout cas. Mais va falloir que j'approfondisse encore le groupe, j'ai quelques lacunes.

L'album est une sacrée bonne nouvelle... et puis peut être qu'ils viendront en Europe, qui sait...

Pas vraiment de nouvelles. Mais Ty Tabor kiffe bien les chansons.

Legendary hard rockers KING'S X will enter Wireworld Studios in Nashville, TN on January 31 with producer Michael Wagener (SKID ROW, ALICE COOPER) to record their 14th, as-yet-untitled studio album.

"We've been writing individually, giving our songs to each other," said guitarist/vocalist Ty Tabor. "We've been living with the music for a little bit, so it's hard to tell how it's going to shape up. So far, I'm extremely happy with some of the stuff we have, especially three or four of Doug's (Pinnick, vocals) songs. I think they're some of the best songs he's ever written."

This will be the second album in a row with Wagener manning the boards. Pleased with the results of 2005's "Ogre Tones", Tabor and his bandmates are heading into the studio more prepared and creative than ever before.

"We really enjoyed working with him on the last album," said Tabor. "There was no pre-production on anything and we were pleased with how it turned out. This time, we're doing some pre-production, some writing together and we're going to try to outdo ourselves. We're going in this time with a complete and prepared attack."

Expect a summer/fall 2007 release on Inside Out Music.

Et Doug Pinnick travaille sur un nouvel album solo avec du joli monde dessus.

"I am in L.A. now making my solo CD! Got a bunch of people playing on it! Wally Farkas on guitar (GALACTIC COWBOYS), Dave Henning on bass (BIG WRECK), Kelli Scott on drums (FAILURE, VERUCA SALT), Ray Luzier on drums (ARMY OF ANYONE), Miles from ZERO ONE on drums also, Doug from INCUBUS on guitar, Alain Johannes on guitar and Natasha on keys and vocals (QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, ELEVEN, CHRIS CORNELL BAND). Hal Sparks is producing and Michael Parnin is engeneering and producing at his Black Sound Studios. I am playing guitar also. There's two songs that are over 10 minutes.

The new King's X CD "Go Tell Somebody" is officially finished! We have a final master after being lucky enough to have the luxury of living with the CD for several months. We're still looking at a February release on InsideOutMusic. The CD is about 54 minutes and has 14 all new songs. It is being described as heavier than "Ogre Tones" (our last CD) but is still chocked FULL of adventurous material. This is the first CD since "Ear Candy" that we spent several months in pre-production writing material (as opposed to writing the majority of the music in the studio).

J'avais un peu perdu de vue King's X depuis un p'tit bout de temps et je m'y suis remis recemment.
Ca me fiche une sacrée envie d'aller jeter une oreille conquise à ce nouvel album!!!

En tout cas ils annoncent qu'il va être plus heavy que le précédant, c'est rassurant.

En même temps le "heavy" ici est plus à prendre comme "lourd" que comme Heavy (le style), King's n'ayant jamais fait de heavy metal.

C'est une très bonne nouvelle. Pourvu qu'il montre le regain de forme annoncé par le précédent opus. Ah oui et une petite tournée par chez nous ça serait cool aussi.
