Here it is, the cover artwork for Passion. Once again done by our friend Bjoern at Killustrations in Germany.

The idea and concept was to get something that had got one, single, strong image that just captured the word "passion". We spent ages trying to find the right faces without success, then Wilce mentioned there was a Mayan exhibition on at the British Museum in London, where we managed to get what we were after. After looking at hundreds of photos of masks and faces the ones you see are obviously the ones that made the grade.

What I like about this is the simplicity, because the faces are masks, they are pretty expressionless which makes them quite eery, so the real power of the image comes from the tongues, it's all about the tongues!

The idea was to get something with a dark feel about it with lots of reds, something ancient, something Mayan/Aztec, something a little sinister..... I think we got all that.
