WETTON & DOWNES: The latest collaboration of John Wetton and Geoff Downes is called Icon and was released through Frontiers Records on May 16th.
The album features 11 new songs written by Wetton and Downes sitting together behind the same piano they used for the writing of the first Asia album. The album features guest appearances by Annie Haslam (Renaissance), Ian McDonald (Foreigner, King Crimson) and Hugh McDowell (ELO) plus longtime Wetton collaborators Steve Christey (drums), John Mitchell (guitars, ARENA) and Mike Stobbie (keyboards).
