Legendary rock band THE CULT has set "Choice Of Weapon" as the title of its long-awaited ninth album, due on May 22 via Cooking Vinyl Records. The group's first full-length work in five years (though the band has kept active by putting out "capsules" of new songs and live recordings in recent years) was co-produced by Chris Goss (QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, U.N.K.L.E. ) and longtime collaborator Bob Rock (METALLICA, AEROSMITH).

"Choice Of Weapon" was made in several studios, including the band's own Witch Mountain as well as spots in New York City, Los Angeles and the California desert.

Oui et plutôt 2 fois qu'une malgré les abus passés.
Le nouveau titre Lucifer est excellent. Allez tester ça avec une interview intéressante d'Astbury.

Depuis Born Into This, ils ont pas mal tourné :) (certains se souviennent de leur drôle de venue au Bataclan ou au Hellfest).
Ils ont sorti entre temps 2 singles avec titres inédits (capsule 1 et 2). Il y en a particulièrement qui attire l'oreille, il s'appelle Embers.

Sorti cette semaine et disponible en string.

Je l'ai reçu aujourd'hui et en suis à 2 écoutes. Ca démarre vraiment très très bien. For The Animals et Lucifer sont déjà connues et hyper efficaces. Les titres plus lents sont superbes (Life > Death ou Wilderness Now). Un autre titre qui m'a marqué direct c'est A Pale Horse.

Voilà je pense que ça va le faire grave. Si vous l'achetez, je vous conseille l'édition limitée (en digibook) avec un cd bonus reprenant les 4 titres des Capsules sorties il y a 2 ans (dont l'excellentissime Embers).

je me suis ressorti "beyond good and evil" hier en me demandant si ce nouvel était sorti, j'ai ma réponse.
Merci pour la précision concernant l'édition limité que je vais me prendre du coup! :hop:
