U.K. doom legends MY DYING BRIDE have been busy at Futureworks studio in Manchester recording material for a new EP. Entitled "Bring Me Victory", the effort will include two covers — "Scarborough Fair" and THE SWANS' "Failure". A new video has been completed as well to support the release. The band states, "An October release date has been penciled in, but this may be put back a little depending on how the last days of recording go."

"The title track is the first track to be lifted from the colossal For Lies I Sire album. The EP also includes special cover versions of the traditional English medieval ballad Scarborough Fair plus the Swans classic, Failure - both executed in the unmistakable MDB way; with more than a touch of foreboding. The release is brought to a close with a storming bonus live rendition of the band’s own Vast Choirs song (originally from the As the Flower Withers album); recorded at Graspop Festival in Belgium, 2008."
