... pour 1 concert ! " According to a statement from the former Metallica bassist, Jason Newsted will be replacing Robert Trujillo for Metallica’s performance at the Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Fame. While speaking to Reuters/Billboard, Newsted has said that he had a phone conversation with Lars Ulrich in which the Danish drummer asked Newsted to replace current Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo for the band’s whole performance at this weekend’s Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Fame. “He said, ‘We want you to rock with us,’” said Newsted. Ulrich allegedly told Newsted that Trujillo “‘is not gonna play at all. We want you to play.’ And my first question was, ‘How’s Robert with that? How does he feel about that? I don’t want to create any kind of negative anything. I want this all to be proper.’ “(Ulrich) said, ‘No, he’s with it, man. He wants to be there as a fan, too, and wants to see the ‘black’ album band’…It’s all good. Everybody’s agreed to it. Let’s rock!’ ‘OK. Let’s rock.’” “I felt strongly they should go as that band and represent Metallica,” continued Newsted, “because they’re strong right now, together. Those four guys in Metallica are out there knocking the s— down, standing tall, able, prowess, chops are in order … There aren’t many times the Hall of Fame can induct a band that’s fully capable like that.” Metallica will be inducted into this year’s Hall Of Fame by RHCP bassist Flea. The band have also recently announced a US tour for this fall and have just released a trailer for Guitar Hero: Metallica where you can watch James Hetfield blow up a house. Sonisphere will be headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park and will take place on August 1st - 2nd at Knebworth. Also on the bill will be Nine Inch Nails, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Lamb Of God, Alice In Chains, Mastodon, Anthrax, Airbourne, Thin Lizzy, Killing Joke and The Sword. " |

Ouai, il ferait mieux de jouer dans un groupe plus important et qui paye mieux... euuuuuh lequel? A sa place aucun bassiste au monde n'aurait refusé le poste. Il aura largement le temps d'exprimer son potentiel dans un autre groupe quand il se fera virer

Surtout quand on voit les 3 membres de Metallica qui disent à Trujillo "bon on te propose le job. Pour te montrer qu'on est sérieux on te file 1 millions de dollars". |

Il doit juste se faire chier dans Metallica vu ce qu'il joue. Il doit régresser. |

Pour l'avoir vu de près hier soir, j'peux te dire qu'il a de quoi tricoter avec les compos de Metallica, il suait à grosse gouttes. Certes on est loin d'Infectious Groove, mais il est plus coutumier du metal classique ces dernières années (Black Label Society, Ozzy) que des délires funko metal d'antan !!. |

Il suait à grosses gouttes à cause de cela : des lights impressionnants (avec des rampes mobiles en forme de cercueil), des pyros juste ce qu'il faut (et du premier rang en fosse j'peux vous dire qu'on sent bien la chaleur)

Le "casting" pour le nouveau bassiste est une scènes les plus impressionnantes de Some Kind Of Monster, tu vois des bassistes confirmés (Scott Reeder, Twiggy Ramirez) en chier des ronds de chapeaux avec les Mets |
