Swedish black metallers MARDUK have set "Cross of Iron" as the title of their new album, tentatively due in April 2007. The upcoming studio album, which is currently being recorded at Endarker studio, will be the band's final effort to feature drummer Emil Dragutinovic. A source close to Emil told BLABBERMOUTH.NET that the drummer officially quit the group on November 1 but has agreed to perform on the new CD as a session musician.

Dragutinovic is currently working with former MARDUK vocalist Legion (a.k.a. Erik Hagsted) on his ELIZIUM project (formerly REBELANGELS).
