French metallers SCARVE have posted the following message on their official web site:

"We're currently adding the last bones to the rough skeleton of what will eventually become SCARVE album #4! About eight brutally groovy and savagely fast tracks are nearly complete now, and we have another three of four on the way, so it all looks quite ravishing here in our snowed-in rehearsal space in the Northeast of beautiful France. Dirk [Verbeuren, drums; also in SOILWORK] and Guillaume [Bideau, vocals] will head to Sweden's Dug-Out Studio next week to start tracking the drums with good ole' Daniel Bergstrand [MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES, STUCK MOJO] at the helm. In the meantime, sassy dude Mattias Nilsson will help Sylvain [Coudret, lead guitar], Patrick [Martin, rhythm guitar] and Loïc [Colin, bass] to fine-tune the guitar and bass sounds which we're tracking at home this time. Vocals and mixing duties will be handled by Daniel sometime in June. Until then, we'll do our best to keep you posted right here with diaries, studio pictures, videos of us naked and other fun stuff!"

SCARVE's follow-up to 2004's "Irradiant" is tentatively later this fall via Listenable Records.

SCARVE's Dirk Verbeuren recently joined SOILWORK as a full-fledged member after having laid down the drum tracks for the group's latest album, "Stabbing the Drama", and touring with the group for the past couple of years.

French metallers SCARVE have posted the following message on their official web site:

"Hell, yeah, we're still among the living… The studio is eating up mostly all of our time, and the good news is that the result fucking rules!!! Sylvain [Coudret] and Patrick [Martin] have been working hard and the guitars sound purely crushing, definitely more accurate than ever before. The new songs can best be described with just two words: heaviness and insanity!!! Once all guitar and bass tracks will be done, Guillaume [Bideau, vocals] and Pierrick [Valence, vocals] will head back to the Dug-Out Studio [in Uppsala, Sweden], where Daniel Bergstrand [producer] will handle vocal recordings and mixing duties."

Alors tout le monde s'en branle et c'est plus que dommage, mais un titre a été posté :

French masters of modern dissonant thrash SCARVE have posted a new song, entitled "Endangered", on their MySpace page. The track comes off of the band's upcoming album, "The Undercurrent", which will be released this April through Listenable Records.

The follow-up to the group's critically acclaimed "Irradiant" album (2004), "The Undercurrent" was recorded in part at the Dug-Out facility in Uppsala, Sweden with renowned Swedish producer Daniel Bergstrand, whose previous credits include MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and STUCK MOJO.

SCARVE has yet to announce a permanent replacement for singer Guillaume Bideau who left the group in May to join the Danish modern metallers MNEMIC. The vocals on "The Undercurrent" were handled by former DARKANE singer Lawrence Mackrory.

"The Undercurrent" track listing:

01. Endangered
02. Imperceptible Armageddon
03. Senseless
04. The Plundered
05. Assuming Self
06. Fathomless Descent
07. A Few Scraps Of Memories
08. Rebirth
