Announcement: Nasum releases “Grind Finale”

After years of delays the work is finally done. “Grind Finale” is finished, waiting to be released by Relapse Records in September/October.

This is the collection of Nasum’s non-album work that has been under production since 2001, previously known as “Blueprints for Extinction”, a title that became highly inappropriate after the passing of Mieszko Talarczyk.

“Grind Finale” is a double disc set compiled and mastered by Anders Jakobson during April of 2005. The discs cover Nasum’s entire career with songs from all the 15 studio recordings the band did between 1993 and 2004, a total of 152 songs with 21 songs previously unreleased publicly before.

The set includes a massive booklet with all the lyrics along with an introduction, session details and linernotes written by Anders Jakobson, and a foreword by Albert Mudrian, author of “Choosing Death: The Improbable History of Death Metal & Grindcore”.

- “Grind Finale” is not a best of Nasum, it is a document of everything that Nasum stood for. It’s a chronological breakdown of the whole development of Nasum’s brand of grindcore. In many ways it’s the definite Nasum release, says Jakobson.

Très intelligent ça comme commentaire...

J'aime pas le grind non plus, c'est vraiment pas mon truc (à part Cephalic Carnage, est encore c'est pas vraiment du grind), mais Nasum merite le respect, c'est une reference du genre !
