Tout le monde s'en fout, mais ce "supergroupe" d'un seul album (un quasi pléonasme d'ailleurs) vient de splitter. Bon pour les rares personnes qui ont écoutées leur album, ce sera plus un soulagement qu'autre chose... lol

LEASH LAW, the Florida-based group featuring vocalist Wade Black (ex-CRIMSON GLORY, SEVEN WITCHES), guitarist Rick Renstrom (ROB ROCK), drummer Richard Christy (ICED EARTH, ex-DEATH), bassist Stephen Elder (ROB ROCK), and guitarist Emo Mowery (TIWANAKU, ex-NOCTURNUS), have officially split up.

"With Richard Christy [ex-ICED EARTH, DEATH] becoming a permanent addition to 'The Howard Stern Show', recently Rick Renstrom has hung up the guitar to do other things (a damn shame!), plus I decided to put all of my efforts into TIWANAKU, after that the band silently died," Mowery told Mario's Metal Mania. "It's a shame we werent able to do another record together but these things happen in this biz."

"The band breaking up really had nothing to do with Black Lotus Records," he continued. "The band just crumbled. After the album 'Dogface' was done I started back on the TIWANAKU stuff. I knew that there wasn't going to be any LEASH LAW practices for a while because Richard Christy moved to New York and we didnt have an immediate replacement. Then everything pretty much fell out of place after that. There really wasnt a big break up or anything like that. It just fizzled. It's a shame but we are looking towards the future that's for sure. :) It's really a shame about Rick Renstrom's decision but he decided to go that route and we respect it. We wish him the best!!

Regaridng the TIWANAKU project, Mowery said: "Wade Black (ex-SEVEN WITCHES, CRIMSON GLORY) and I both are concentrating on TIWANAKU right now only. We want to put 200% of our efforts into this band to make sure the album we put out is going to be the best it can possibly be and shred the heads of everyone!!

"Been really busy here taking care of day to day crap and of course getting TIWANAKU off the ground. With a new guitarist and drummer we have lots to do training them and getting them up to speed. They are both almost finished with the 4 songs we put out in 2003. Almost time to start showing them the new songs!!! Hopefully we will be hitting the studio/stage in a month or two. On a good note all is not lost and TIWANAKU will stay alive!! I have been trying to get this band off the ground for almost five years now!! Only the strong survive right?? HAHA!"
