Voici un communiqué du chanteur de Soilwork : "I'll be down in Germany from tomorrow and record an album with he drummer from BLIND GUARDIAN [Thomen Stauch]. The project is called COLDSEED and is sounding something like a mixture between RAMMSTEIN and ALICE IN CHAINS, if you ask me. I'm really looking forward to record this and I'll get back to you later with further information." Ca peut être intéressant d'entendre Thomen jouer autre chose que du BG (et dans une moindre mesure du Iron Savior). |

je reposte ici: Sur le forum officiel ils parlent aussi de Korn et Disturbed, groupes apparemment appréciés par Marcus et Thomen...: Read it in the German Rock Hard magazine... They said that they wanted to do something similiar to Disturbed or Korn, but they ended up in something more unique/different.... The collaboration, which originally went under the COLDSEED moniker, is described by Strid as "a mixture between RAMMSTEIN and ALICE IN CHAINS." 2 titres sont dispos, mais ce ne sont encore que des "rough mix" avec un son en 96 kbps, donc normal si le son n'est pas tip top. Le jeu de Stauch est méconnaissable mais on reconnait bien le jeu Strid. Democracy Lesson On My Way Plus d'infos sont dispos sur http://www.coldseed.com |

J'aime beaucoup. Je trouve que Speed a vraiment une excellente voix claire. Par contre je n'ai pas encore trouvé les simimilitudes de ces 2 titres avec Rammstein. Quant à Alice In Chains, je ne connais que de nom. Déjà le 1er titre m'a bien plus botté que le dernier Soilwork

The CD will be completed by the end of the month for a spring release via Nuclear Blast Records. Strid had previously described COLDSEED's music as "a mixture between RAMMSTEIN and ALICE IN CHAINS." |

COLDSEED, the new band featuring former BLIND GUARDIAN/current SAVAGE CIRCUS skinsman Thomen Stauch and SOILWORK singer Björn "Speed" Strid, have been forced to abandon their previously announced plan to mix their debut album with engineer Charly Czajkowsky. According to a posting on the band's web site, "Czajkowsky had to cancel his work on the album because of his RAGE duties. Now Dirk Schlächter (GAMMA RAY) is on board — he and Mi will do the final mix and prepare it for mastering!!!" Le titre est Completion Makes the Tragedy.
