En mai 2012 Anathema sortait 'Weather Systems', puis partait sur les routes pour une tournée mondiale. En Europe, la tournée a commencé avec un show particulier au théâtre romain de Philippopolis (Bulgarie) où le groupe a été rejoint par le Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra.
