 Iced Earth - Dystopia Et ça sera le 1er avec Stu Block au chant Citation: American power metallers ICED EARTH have set "Dystopia" as the title of their new album, tentatively due before the end of the year via Century Media Records. The CD will mark the band's recording debut with singer Stu Block (INTO ETERNITY), who joined ICED EARTH in March following the departure of Matt Barlow. (Note: Barlow is performing with the band on all summer festival dates. Block will take over from there, starting with the European leg of ICED EARTH's world tour in November.)
Commented ICED EARTH guitarist/mainman Jon Schaffer: "We begin master tracking [the new album] in Florida in two weeks and will be traveling between Europe and the U.S. this summer to play festivals and finish the new album."
He added, "I can honestly say that I haven't had this many songs give me goose bumps since we recorded 'Something Wicked This Way Comes' way back in 1998, so this is also very exciting.
"As you can imagine, it's a very busy time for us. I think we're all having emotional ups and downs as we're coming to the end of an era with Matt's retirement, and we're also very excited about the future with Stu coming onboard, so it's a little bit of a roller coaster ride for us. However, we are having a killer time, and Matt is performing at his absolute best and going out with pure class and style, which is always the way he rolls."

j'aurais été d'accord s'il avait dit 'depuis horror show', son summum discographique selon moi. sa langue a dû fourcher.
après c'est sûr qu'après, c'est un peu de l'alimentaire...

il avait dit le même genre de truc après Horror Show, en disant que The Glorious Burden était 10 fois meilleur parce que le sujet le passionnait beaucoup plus. Quelle girouette ce type...

Sortie le 17/10  PS : je suis pas encore remis de la vision du magnifique clip de Ten Thousand Strongs que j'ai vu hier soir, le pire clip de l'histoire mais super drôle au final

Superbe pochette mais j'ai décroché de Iced Earth depuis un moment...
Y'avait eu un sursaut avec The Glorious Burden (et la chanson When The Eagles Cries) que j'avais acheté mais j'accrochais plus depuis Something Wicked This Way Comes.
Je vais y jeter une oreille quand même.

Oulah je viens de mater le clip de Ten thousand strongs!!! Mais c'est pas possible d'être aussi kitch en 2011! (dommage la chanson est vraiment pas mal en plus)

when the eagle cries a effectivement la palme du clip ridicule .... Ten thousand strong, là par contre c'est la chanson qui est encore pire que le clip ...

Je trouve Owens vraiment convaincant dessus. J'aime le côté épique...
Le clip, très "américain" dans l'esprit, bien-sûr!
Ten Thousand Strongs, le clip a le mérite d'être original mais en général je m'en fous un peu, par contre la chanson est pas mal.

Un gros 'Wait and see' en ce qui me concerne, je suis pas mal moins enthousiaste que je l'ai été à l'origine concernant ce groupe et j'ai revendu mon Framing Armegeddon sans l'avoir trop écouté.
Et chaque fois que j'écoute (plus rarement) du Iced Earth, c'est le vieux Burnt's Offering...
