A new MÖTLEY CRÜE song, entitled "Saints of Los Angeles", is being streamed exclusively at Spinner.com. The song is expected to be the first single off the band's ninth album, "The Dirt", which is tentatively due on July 8. The single will arrive at radio stations in early May.

Several registered members of MÖTLEY CRÜE's official message board previously commented on a 28-second leak of "Saints of Los Angeles", with one fan describing the track as "definitely that elusive cross between 'Shout at the Devil' and 'Dr. Feelgood' we always heard about." Another board user writes, "[it] reminds be a bit of the 'Sick Love Song' [a track that was included on MÖTLEY CRÜE's two-CD 'greatest hits' collection, 'Red, White & Crüe' in 2005] style of material, but has a 'Wildside' vibe. I'm glad to see the CRÜE go back to a classic/heavy sound while not sounding like 'New Tattoo' [2000]. This is the style they should stay in."

"The Dirt" is based on the band's 2001 memoir of the same name and will be its first all-new studio effort since 2000's "New Tattoo". 1997's "Generation Swine" was the last to feature the group's original lineup, which reunited for a successful world tour in 2005.

Although it was reported last fall that drummer Tommy Lee had again quit the CRÜE over legal issues, he and the group have reconciled.

Bassist Nikki Sixx wrote in a recent online update, "10 songs done for the new CRÜE album so far, I'm very proud of the songs. I think we're onto some of the better songs we've had in years...Time will tell, of course. A couple of song titles on the CRÜE album are called 'A Scar On Hollywood Boulevard' and 'The Saints Of Los Angeles'... The chemistry in the studio as we're writing is unbelievable."

Reste à voir ce que donnera l'album.

Bon il est sorti depuis 1000 ans, au moins, mais on n'en cause pas des masses ici, je l'ai acheté hier à pas cher, 13 €, et pour le moment, à part la voix que j'ai presque eu du mal à reconnaitre, c'est du pur Crüe, et ça le fait bien je dois dire

Voilà ce que j'ai dit sur Nightfall :

C'est mon album de l'été tout simplement.
Fun, simple, efficace, le Crüe est revenu à son meilleur niveau.
Ça ne révolutionne peut-être pas grand chose, mais c'est exactement ce que j'ai envie d'écouter en ce moment.
Je me le passe tous les jours (et c'est une chose assez rare pour que la précision soit importante).
Bref, un bon 4,5/5 que je vais arrondir à 5 pour le côté "coup de cœur".

En fait, à part éventuellement What's It Gonna Take, j'accroche totalement à tous les morceaux de l'album.
D'ailleurs la tracklist de noise est chelou, pas dans le bon ordre et il manque deux titres.

Je trouve cet album très bon et fait partit des albums que j'écoute le plus en ce moment, une réussite quoi

Y a des refrains vraiment bons, mais je trouve les couplets un peu faiblard dans l'ensemble. Faut que je le réécoute un peu.

La chanson "Saints of los angeles", est un des derniers tubes instantanés que j'ai entendu depuis un bout de temps.

Faudrait que je l'écoute, tiens, cet album. La chanson titre est une belle tuerie, et me donne envie d'entendre le reste.

Reprise/référence aux Heartbreakers ?

Référence peut-être, mais sinon c'est juste un intro.

Et Welcome to the Machine c'est Pink Floyd ?

J'ai acheté l'album. Pas encore beaucoup écouté mais je le trouve assez chouette. Un peu inégal mais y a de sacrés refrains.

en Live le seul bémol c'est Mick Mars.
trop statique. on sait pourquoi malheureusement.
Dans Guitar world il y a une interview de lui, et les photos sont effrayantes.
On dirait qu'il a 70 piges.

J'adore cet album, j'adore cet album!
Et Mars a d'enormes problemes de dos: spondylartrite ankylosante!
J'ai a peu de chose prets la m^me chose, il en parle d'ailleurs dans the Dirt, et je pense qu'il morfle!
