il a repris Virus, 2AM, man on the edge, sign of the cross, two worlds collide et futureal à ma connaissance et peut etre bien como estais amigos mais je l'ai jamais entendu encore

Je ne me faisais pas trop de soucis pour la set list. Ses 3 albums solo sont bien mortels et les titres de Maiden qu'il reprend habituellement sont de très bonne facture (cf le live). Par contre, 2 A.M ça ne serait peut être pas celle que j'aurai choisi...

Il ne reste plus qu'à voir comment se débrouille son nouveau line up.

2AM je suis bien curieux moi, le titre passe innaperçu sur X factor mais il est assez bon, en live ça peut bien donner et ça change de sortir des titres que Maiden a jamais joué

The new album is awaited for a February 2006 release and it should be available both in surround 5.1 and stereo sound. It should be packaged with a live DVD recorded at the last Big Bash gig in December 2004.

BLAZE, the band fronted by former IRON MAIDEN/WOLFSBANE singer Blaze Bayley, will headline the first Izzefest at Joc De Schuur in Izegem, Belgium on Saturday, September 3. Also scheduled to appear are ARKANGEL, DOUBLE DIAMOND, MORDA, AFTER ALL, CHIMAERA, AXAMENTA, THE RAPE OF LUCRECE, HEIDEVOLK, BLOOD REDEMPTION, CADUCITY, ZERO X TOLERANCE, REQUIEM and COLLAPSED. As previously reported, Blaze Bayley will be making a "special guest" appearance with the Italian IRON MAIDEN tribute band THE CLAIRVOYANTS at the Badia Rock Festival on Friday, July 16 and at the Giovani Espressioni Festival on Saturday, July 17.

BLAZE's current lineup consists of the following:

BLAZE are continuing to tour in support of their third album, "Blood & Belief", which was released in Europe in April 2004. The follow-up to 2002's "Tenth Dimension" was recorded at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, England with producer Andy Sneap.

Former IRON MAIDEN/WOLFSBANE frontman Blaze Bayley spoke to Blazefans.com prior to the band's show at Belgium's Izzefest festival on September 3 about BLAZE's forthcoming album and DVD. "The new album is planned for May 2006 along with the DVD coming a bit later featuring three exclusive songs and documenting the work on the new album," he said. "The new album will be very different from 'Blood & Belief'. 'Blood & Belief' is my favorite album because the vocals are perfect and sound like on a live album. I would like to keep it up this way for the new album. We did a LONG preparation for 'Blood & Belief' and spent a very SHORT time in the studio. Studios are so boring and uninspiring. They are not creative enough for a metal band, they are only for pop bands and stuff like that who like to spend most time in studios."

En réponse à ce qu'on disait, Neil Marklew, le manager de Blaze, a posté un communiqué. Il confirme bien que les 4 musiciens actuels font vraiment partie du groupe et ne sont pas des mercenaires. Il confirme aussi la sortie de l'album pour avril ou mai 2006 et il cherche un deal avec une maison de disque à l'heure actuelle.


BLAZE manager Neil Marklew has confirmed the group's new lineup and recording plans via a posting on the band's official web site. His message reads as follows:

"It gives me great pleasure to make the following announcement as I believe it has been long overdue. As you may be aware, we have not had a 'permanent' band line-up for some time now but I believe we have always had good quality musicians in the line-ups at past BLAZE shows and would like to thank Phil Greenhouse, Wayne Banks, Jason Bowld, Dave Knight, Nick Douglas, Dani Loeble and the original four members for all their hard work during their time in the band.

"Since the departure of the last two original members (Steve Wray and
John Slater) in September 2004, we always knew that 2005 was going to be the year to start to put things 'back on track,' and, we wanted to put together a 'band' again… Now, I believe we have, although, due to the commitments that each of 'the new guys' have, we can not be certain that we will not have to use 'stand-ins' again as they are all in demand. However, every effort will be made to ensure that this is not the case, but you can be sure that in the event we do a good quality stand-in will be used. So, without further delay, please welcome Oli Palotai (guitars), Luca Princiotta (guitars), Christian Ammann (bass) and Daniel Schild (drums).

"Oli joined us in April 2004 as 'stand-in' for John Slater originally and was always going to be our first choice to replace John when he decided to leave. He is an all-around great musician and he brings grit and a determination to succeed to the band.

"Luca is the baby in the band at only 23 years of age and was bought in as a replacement for Steve Wray. He is a great guitarist with huge potential and is keen and eager to get on with the job in hand.

"Christian and Dani joined us earlier this year and performed their first show with BLAZE in Slovenia at the Born to be Wild Festival in April. Both are gifted musicians and have worked extremely hard since then and are keen to show BLAZE fans around the world what they are capable of.

"Looking to the future, I can confirm that I am in negotiations with several record companies and hope to make an announcement about this later this year. In the meantime, I can confirm that the band are finalising the writing of the NEW album (which is planned for an April/May release next year) and will be doing some dates in December (details to follow shortly) in addition to working on the DVD which is planned for release in August/September next year.

BLAZE frontman Blaze Bayley (ex-IRON MAIDEN, WOLFSBANE) has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"I am staying here in a secure location in Italy near Lake Como. Oli [Oliver Palotai, guitar] and Luca [Priciotta, guitar] and myself are working on all the songs for the next album. So far everything feels absolutely great! I can't give you any titles of songs becuase nothing is finished yet. But a couple of working titles are 'Oli's Desert Doom' and 'Luca's Bumpy Road Chuggy to Hell'.

"Can't wait to see you all in December. Hope we will have a new song ready to play for you."



Par contre je viens de capter que le Palotai était aussi le nouveau membre de Kamelot !! Y a cumul des mandats là !!!
