Le groupe va passer l'année à écrire le prochain album, prévu en Janvier 2009.


"Right now, it's time for us to recharge our batteries and write some new songs. A little like the creature in 'Alien', several ideas for the next album have been brooding inside me for a while and now they're ready to burst out of my chest and take the KREATOR story to the next level. Musically, the whole concept will be very brutal and melodic! I've been working for over a year now between gigs with Tim Schuldt at 4 CN Studio in Wuppertal, Germany on the demos, and at the moment there are 10 basic ideas and fragments for new songs. Starting in January of 2008, the band will get together in Essen to start working out arrangements for the new stuff.


Et les vidéos Hallucinative Comas et Live in East Berlin vont enfin sortir en DVD.


"Over the years, I've met lots of people in and around Berlin whose first metal experience ever was the concert we did there in the early '90s at the Werner Seelenbinder Halle. The new DVD features some of these people in recent interviews, and there are also some original quotes from back then. Words don't do justice to the energy that was in the air that day in East Berlin, and the whole event can only be described as utterly unique and historic.

"Up until now this legendary concert was only available as a VHS video with less-than-ideal sound quality. But Niels Folta and I have carefully digitalized all the material and upgraded it to today's standards, re-edited everything and called in Andy Sneap to mix it all in 5.1 sound format. The result is a tremendous upgrade in the quality of the whole thing without destroying the early '90s charm of the original. Plus, the DVD also contains the 'Hallucinative Coma' video from 1991. This was our mini-horror movie for the 'Coma of Souls' album at the time. For the DVD, original director Andreas Marshall has personally re-edited his own 'Director's Cut', featuring never-seen-before scenes that the censors just couldn't stomach back in the day. All in all, this new DVD is a great metal package featuring the best of the original and plenty of extra features to get your head around!"

"At The Pulse Of Kapitulation - Live In East Berlin 1990" will be released in Europe on March 31, 2008 (in Germany three days earlier) and in the U.S. on March 25, 2008.

La perspective d'un Violent Revolution 3 me fait pas bander des masses.

c'est la mode en cemoment de se repeter, ça va etre dur d'échapper a ça, quelque soit le groupe.

Je leur demande pas de changer radicalement de style, mais bon...

Pendant leur âge d'or (en gros, de Pleasure to Kill à Coma of Souls), on retrouvait des similitudes d'un disque à l'autre, mais sur chaque album, le groupe proposait des trucs différents, allait plus loin à chaque fois.

Alors qu'entre Violent Revolution et Enemy of God, je sens pas cette évolution. Même si certains soutiennent que les éléments Death mélo constituent la petite nouveauté d'Enemy. Mais je le ressens pas comme ça.

Je veux pas que KREATOR stagne.

très bonne nouvel que cette annonce pour le nouvel albums, pour le dvd, il faut voir la qualité du son et de l'image

Le groupe va d'autant plus bosser son album que la tournée de 2 mois prévue avec KING DIAMOND est annulée (King a le dos ruiné, à tel point qu'il peut presque plus s'asseoir).

Présentation :

Suite à la (très) longue tournée qui a suivit la sortie de « Enemy of God», les thrashers allemands de Kreator ont décidé de prendre un break en 2008 afin de ce consacrer pleinement à l’écriture et l’enregistrement de leur prochain carnage sonore dont la sortie est prévu pour janvier 2009.

C’est donc un peu pour faire patienter ses fans que Mille Petrozza a décidé de mettre sur le marché la réédition en DVD de « Live in East Berlin » et « Hallucinative Comas » qui n’étaient jusqu’alors uniquement disponibles en VHS.

Le concert filmé en 1990 à Berlin Est nous replonge dans l’atmosphère si particulière qui régnait dans la ville à cette époque. Pour certains kids présents dans la salle ce soir là, il s’agissait de leur premier concert de « metal ». Les mots sont inutiles pour décrire la communion entre le groupe et ce public déchaîné, les images parlent d’elles mêmes tant elles restituent à merveille cette débauche d’énergie primale. D’autant que cette version restaurée surpasse en tous points ce qui était proposé à l’époque sur les vidéos cassettes. Le remix en 5.1 a même été confié à Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Exodus, Arch Enemy).

En plus de ce concert unique, historique et brutal, les fans pourront aussi apprécier la version director’s Cut du mini film d’horreur « The Hallucinative Coma » datant de 1991. L’un des réalisateurs, un certain Andreas Marshall (responsable depuis des illustrations des albums d’In Flames, Blind Guardian, Running Wild et Kreator), s’est chargé lui-même de cette nouvelle version qui comprend de nombreuse nouvelle scènes.

C'est pas les bonus, ça, RG, mais leur film-docu Hallucinative Comas.

Les bonus semblent être plutôt le docu The Past and Now.

Merde, le concert est juste un poil trop vieux, y'a rien de Coma of Souls.
Bon ça sera sûrement cool, mais les 1ers, à part Pleasure to Kill, j'aime juste sans plus moi.

Ouais, c'était la tournée Extreme Aggression.

Et c'est un putain de concert : rien que l'entrée sur Some Pain will Last, les gros plans sur le groupe où tu sens bien qu'ils sont sacrément émus de jouer dans leur ville vu le contexte... Et Petrozza avait encore sa voix de clébard teigneux qu'il a un peu perdu aujourd'hui.

je la trouve très cool comme set list et en plus j'adore l'album extreme agression, à ce concert on risque de trouver un certain jorg trzebiatowski à la seconde guitare

Non, c'est Frank Gosdzik.
Tritze a pas pris part à la tournée, il s'est barré juste après l'enregistrement de l'album.

et ce qui attend un hypothétique album d'ACDC qu'es qui doivent dire !

Sinon bonne nouvelle.


EDIT : certain dirons "Et Gun n Roses" Oui mais là, c'est plus une hypothèse, mais un fantasme...

Le DVD :

Here is a synopsis of the horror movie "Hallucinative Comes" which is part of the new DVD "At The Pulse Of Kapitulation - Live In East Berlin 1990".
It´s written by the director Andreas Marshall himself:

"Hallucinative Comas is a mixture between the typical long form music video compilation and a concept plot.
It deals with Dr Wagner, a scientist who does research about violence and descends into his own abyss of nightmares and visions. In his research he encounters a dark force which arises from ancient books.
Dr Wagner ends up in a dark cave with his eyelids sawn together. Now he doesn´t see the outer world anymore. He´s lost in his inner worlds.

The story was inspired by the artwork for the "Coma Of Souls" album. Mille Petrozza and cover artist Andreas Marschall had the idea to tell the poor guy´s backstory. So they shot some film sections to blend into the music videos.
The producers forced the band to put some interview passages in to increase the program length. The original 1991 version of the film suffers badly, because the interviews destroy the pace of the feature. We eliminated the interviews for the director´s cut."

German thrash metal veterans KREATOR will enter the Titonus studios in Berlin on July 20 to begin recording the highly anticipated follow-up to their 2005 release "Enemy of God". Helming the as-yet-untitled album is top German producer Moses Schneider.

Commented KREATOR leader Mille Petrozza: "The pre-production in our rehearsal studios went really smooth. Moses' way of working with bands takes place more on an emotional then on a technical level, which means the album will sound very raw and direct. We're trying to capture KREATOR's live energy and will be using nice vintage analog equipment for the recordings this time. Expect a massacre!"
