Les excellents Slough Feg vont sortir un double cd de raretés en Décembre.

Ce groupe est excellent, un des combo de heavy les plus originaux de ces dernières années, très inspiré. Une très forte personnalité, fortement inspiré par la scène metal épique US des 80's (Brocas Helm en tête, Manilla Road aussi), teinté de folk, de Maiden, de Thin lizzy, etc... Ils ont parfaitement digérés leurs influences.

Purée y'a même une reprise de Metalucifer sur ce nouvel album!!

Shadow Kingdom Records will be releasing a double-CD this December compiling the early live and demo recordings from metallic nomads THE LORD WEIRD SLOUGH FEG.

Says the label: "Some of you might not know that The Lord Weird Slough Feg have been going strong since 1990! My God... hardly anyone knew them back then, but they were onto something unique and special. Their earliest recordings featured vocalist Omar, instead of what (most) everyone is used to… Mike Scalzi singing. Their early stuff is really rough 80’s sounding metal with the obvious THIN LIZZY influence and a dash of punk rock.

After all the years it it's finally nice to see a band like this get a lot of press and success in the underground. Shadow Kingdom is pleased and incredibly honored to announce this release of their earliest live and demo recordings all put together on one release. If you are a fan of The Lord Weird Slough Feg - and are used to their ultra clean and crisp sound - you’re not going to find it here. This release is for the ultra-diehard fans. You’ll be happy to know there are 6 unreleased songs (including 2 cover songs) and a really entertaining interview with Mike Scalzi at the end of the album.

Enfin ,même si je dis ça, je me le prendrais surement.
Faut dire vu la qualité de leur dernier opus, ça donne envie d'y croire!

J y connais pas grand chose mais a priori le nouvel album est dispo.

ça vient de sortir et une nouvelle fois, c'est excellent.
COntrairement à leur album de raretés réservé aux fans et collectionneurs, ce ape uprising vaut clairement le détour!
