Ca s'appelle Metal Black, oui faut oser ce titre et ça sort chez Sanctuary en mars 2006 :

British black metal pioneers VENOM have set "Metal Black" as the title of their new studio album, due in March 2006 via Castle Records/Sanctuary Group.

According to an official press release, "Metal Black" "sees original founder band member Cronos creating a new masterpiece of metal together with [drummer] Antton and [guitarist] Mykvs. With 14 brand new roaring and vital tracks, VENOM are again taking the goat by the horns and reinventing their own original style . . . 'Metal Black' [is] an album that harkens back to the writing style of the '80s VENOM with a powerful production to incinerate any sound system, truly demonic in every sense and with the delivery of a charging beast."

Commented Mykvs: "The album has a very raw feel. The intensity of the songs is awesome. We recorded the album as a live band, three demons bleeding for the heaviest metal we could create, and our new album will show that VENOM keeps getting stronger and heavier. Lay down your souls, muthafuckers, we have returned."

Et le pire, c'est que je suis hyper impatient d'écouter ce que ca va donner !

Venom c'est tres drole !

Rien que l'idee d'échanger l'ordre des mots du titre de l'album ( du coup, j'attends les "faith of the defender" et "ride into glory"...)

Musicalement pas aussi nul que certains semblent le penser ! Ca se laisse écouter, c'est marrant, mélodique et rentre dedans et j'adore l'imagerie et les textes "horreur série B".

Bon apres, nul doute que cet album aura peu d'intéret, mais le communiqué de presse est tellement poilant !

Ouhlaaaaaaaa quelle imagination dans le titre de l'album. Faudra s'attendre à un truc bien old-school alors.

Mais j'y pense, Cast In Stone aussi était old-school, et il était pas terrible. Je ne vois pas pourquoi ça changerait avec cet album !

En tous cas, ils font toujours autant rire à défaut d'avoir un interet musical En plus avec Mucus à la Gratte, ça va tout déchirer ..

C'est Cronos qui parlait de foutre des baffles gigantesque sur la lune pour que tout le monde soit obligé de les écouter.

c'est clair que c'est old school cet album. un peu barré, brouillon voire primitif..... Un peu vieillot quoi!

Marrant cet album. devrait plaire aux fans de Venom.

Album du mois dans Rock Hard, bouse du mois dans Hard Rock.

J'ai bien aimé, perso.
Faut pas y chercher une quelconque innovation, c'est du Venom hein.
A partir de là je le trouve cool.
