Mince, j'ai écouté la 1ère en me disant que c'était super bien foutu et pas mou du g'nou, la 2ième en me disant qu'elle était bien sympa mais clairement moins remuante. Je me demande ce qui m'attend du coup. Enfin, je verrais bien, je l'écoute ces jours-ci.

Oui même analyse, c'est bien pop mais le père Kiske chante très bien, ça fait du bien de le réentendre à un si bon niveau, j'avais gardé un sale souvenir de RTS

Kiske n'a rien composé et tant mieux. Cela dit il a écrit deux trois trucs pas mal chez Helloween : "A little time" et... ah ben non y a que celle là !

Oui pitié que Kiske ne compose pas, je garde un souvenir abominable de Easy sur RTS

J'ai écouté l'album entier. C'est impeccable. Pas trop folichon ma foi, mais impeccable.

Histoire de montrer qu'il est pas d'accord, Kiske poste un message pour dire qu'il s'est fait baisé. Il a enregistré sa voix à partir de démos et il pensait que ce serait moins heavy. C'est Ward qui a ajouté les grattes derrières. Du coup il est un peu dégouté mais ça passe.

Former HELLOWEEN singer Michael Kiske has issued the following statement regarding his involvement in the PLACE VENDOME project, also featuring PINK CREAM 69 members Dennis Ward, Uwe Reitenauer, and Kosta Zafiriou, plus VANDEN PLAS ivory tinkler Gunther Werno:

"We all pretty much know by now [that] whatever I do, certain people will always complain about it. It's not that I really care, but to clear [up] some confusion [regarding] my statement last year about me leaving the hard rock music scene, here is this:

"I did not mean with it that I'm not making music or releasing CDs anymore (not yet!) (I was in the middle of writing new material when I posted that statement.) But obviously it was all a bit unclear. What I meant was: I am not at all compatible with the hard rock or metal scene anymore. It doesn't work!

"My personal understanding of free art and my human ideals are pretty much the total opposite to what this scene idealizes most of the time. And as a songwriter, I will write no more hard rock songs in the future. I discovered that I have to do things different now; my own music has got to speak a different language, and it will. But I still have a heart for intelligent rock music sometimes.

"PLACE VENDOME is, and was offered to me, as AOR [Adult Oriented Rock]. I did the vocals to the demos which were not very heavy. Dennis Ward produced some of the songs with lots of heavy guitar overdubs afterwards. A bit too much for my taste, but it's OK.

"Don't forget: it's not MY record, just a project I did vocals for.

"Dennis did a very good job on the production, and its not that I'm getting sleepless nights because of those E-guitars, but I personally would have done it a lot less heavy to be more AOR. The amount of E-guitars does matter in terms of how it comes across, and now some songs can easily be called hard rock. But that's not my fault. It also creates even more confusion that Frontiers Records promote this album now as melodic hard rock. I think it is, and I have been told, it is AOR. But whatever it may be, it was fun to do. And as long as it is no soul-raping, brain-and-heart-dead-inhumanity-idealizing-Evil-Knievel-brutal-metal, I am OK [with it]."

Par contre si c'est composé par les gars de PC69 pourquoi avoir monté ce Place Vendome ? C'est si différent de PC69 que ça ?

Quel emmerdeur ce Kiske, , quand va-t-il comprendre qu'il a une voix pour le heavy et pour rien d'autre??

"A little time" c'est pas de Kai Hansen? (en tout cas c'est ce qui est écrit dans mon livret de keeper). Sinon il a écrit "you always walk alone" qui est pas si mal que ça.


Sinon pour l'album de Place Vendome, je trouve qu'il remonte largement le niveau de tout ce qu'à pu faire Kiske (hormis ses apparitions sur Avantasia) depuis son départ d'Helloween. Bon par contre c'est sur que c'est FM et qu'il faut aimer un minimum ce style mais la voix, bon dieu la voix!

"Little time" est bien de Kiske, vérification faite sur le livret. J'ai également vérifié sur le Live in UK et sur le net : www.allmusic.com

Bon bin mon livret est faux (il s'agit d'une réédition de 1993 avec les 2 keeper plus 3 bonus track réunis sous un format double album.)Décidemment si on ne peut même plus se fier aux livrets...
