ABBATH sortira son nouvel album, intitulé Dread Reaver, le 25 mars 2022 via Season Of Mist.
L’objectif pour ce nouvel était de mettre sur pied une production qui se situe au carrefour des héros d’Abbath, à savoir KISS, MOTÖRHEAD, MANOWAR et BATHORY. Le line-up est actuellement composé d’Abbath (guitare, basse, chant), Ukri Suvilehto (batterie), Ole André Farstad (guitares) et Frode Kilvik (basse).
L’album a été produit par Endre Kirkesola, Dag Erik Nygaard et Abbath lui-même au Dub Studio de Kristiansand et au Bergen Lydstudio. L’album a été masterisé par Maor Appelbaum (FAITH NO MORE, ROB HALFORD) au Maor Appelbaum Mastering de Los Angeles. La photo de l’artwork a été prise par Francisco Munoz et le design et la mise en page ont été réalisés par Bjørn Stian Bjoarvik et Agata Kasprowicz.
