Vous allez rire (ou pas) : j'aime beaucoup Invaders. Il fallait que ce soit dit. Réhabilitons les chansons pourries, mordel de berde.

Mais, c'est ton droit. Je crois que quelques personnes en ce bas monde aiment bien Invaders.
Moi même, bien que trouvant qu'elle fasse tâche par rapport au reste de l'album, je ne la déteste pas, au contraire.

Moi je l'adore, c'est même une de mes préférées de NOTB alors que je suis pas super fan de l'album, c'est dire

C'est un des rares titres évincé classiques chez Maiden qui m'a réellement botté le cul, au même titre que Moonchild ou Flash of the blade.

J'adore Invaders, elle a la pêche!!!

Par contre je vous comprends pas pour Where Eagles Dare, chanson sublimissime.

Je suis d'accord pour dire que l'enchainement Moonchild/Infinite Dreams, c'est
le sommet de l'extase, bref le pied intégral.
Je mettrais quasiment au même niveau l'enchainement Ides Of March, Wrathchild et Murder In The Rue Morgue.

Si Maiden pouvait nous pondre un truc de ce genre, j'en rêve.

IRON MAIDEN producer Kevin Shirley has issued another update as part of his ongoing studio diary covering the making of the group's new album, tentatively due this fall. An excerpt from the latest entry follows:

"Another week has slipped by, and the album is progressing at an amazing pace — we have two songs finished, apart from the vocals, and they are pretty mind-blowing. The 'single,' I guess, was the first which features a terrific solo from Adrian [Smith] and is fairly compact, along the lines of recent rockers — and the second is a tour-de-force, with a quiet intro, really great chorus, some proggy staccato riffing, a sing-along guitar melody section, and again two phenomenal solos, one from Davey [Murray] and one from Adrian, which almost sounds like a fusion solo — a la John McLaughlin — amazing!"

"Bruce [Dickinson, vocals] came in and sang three songs over two days — very well too! He cycles in on his bike — about 4 o'clock and leaves about 8 — and we're glad to see him go when he finally packs his bags, as the last hour is always spent listening to a discourse on planes and flight patterns and various other topics that he's very well versed in! I compiled the lead vocals from about 3 - 6 tracks, depending on the sections of the songs I was concentrating on. I used about 80% of the original live tracking vocal, cut when the band cut the basic tracks — and there's a magic spirit on them! The three amigos, Adrian [Smith], Davey [Murray] and Jan [Gers] also came in. Jan did an amazing solo — filled with his trademark 'Blackmoresque' licks and some awesome wild whammy bar nonsense, Adrian did one of his note-perfect precision solos and Davey rolled out some of his fluid and flighty solos, and we have finished 3 of the 10 album tracks — AND mixed two!! Finished! FINAL MIXES! The album opener, and rocker single,and a great durgy track with an evil 7/8 groove! * We are so far ahead of schedule — Steve's [Harris] bass sounds totally sick, he says he's never been happier with how the band, his bass, and the album is sounding — and I think this could be as big as anything they've ever recorded. It's definitely the high point of our relationship — that is MAIDEN with me producing."

Ce n'est que l'enregistrement, je ne sais pas combien de temps ils ont mis pour composer et arranger les morceaux.

Je pense pas qu'ils aient attendu le dernier moment pour se mettre à composer.
Celui-là sortira quand même 3 ans après DoD, ça leur aura laissé pas mal de temps.

Le Douggy est à l'affut de la moindre occasion... sauf que là c'est à mon avis loupé

on verra à la sortie de l'album

Il s'agit du même laps de temps entre Brave New World et Dance of Death en même temps...

la dernière fois ils ont composé en quelques semaines s'ils ont fait pareil j'ai encore peur que tout soit bâclé en deux coups de cuillère à pot et hop, encore un album moyen mais que les ultras vont trouver sensationnel et enormoïde et incontournable........et même mieux que les premiers albums.........

De toutes façons, ils sont tous meilleurs que les premiers albums...

Remarquez tous leurs albums ont été composés très vite, BNW y compris

et toi Doug tu aimera pas parce que c'etait mieux avant, mais tu le sais déjà, alors pourquoi insite tu? t'es maso?

Crie pas avant d'avoir mal Doug, ça sert à rien On verra bein ce que ça va donner, c'est pas comme si Maiden ne s'était jamais remis d'avoir fait un maivais album (ah bah si, merde... )


Bon et puis on parle de Maiden là, c'est pas un groupe important
