 Al atkins
l'ancien, mais alors très ancien, chanteur du Priest, entre 69 et 73, va oser sortir une nouvelle version de Victim of changes
Al has recorded "Victim of Changes" three times on different albums over the last 15 years since he turned solo. "This time it's a much shorter and faster version than before. It's fucking awesome," Atkins said.
The new version of "Victim of Changes" will appear on Atkins' upcoming fifth solo album, "Demon Deceiver", tentatively due later in the year, possibly through Metal Nations Records, the U.K.-based label run by Jess Cox (former TYGERS OF PAN TANG singer).
The album, which features artwork by MAGNUM bassist Al Barrow (who also runs Generic Designs), was pieced together over a ten-month period with the help of South African guitarist Mike de Jager, Simon Lees (BUDGIE; once voted guitarist of the year by Guitar magazine), Brian Tatler (DIAMOND HEAD), bassist Pete Emms (THE VASELINE RATS), and drummers Adrian Badland and Mick Hales. Among the songs scheduled to appear on the album is "Drown", which is said to be a duet between Al and Kansas-based vocalist/guitarist Johnny Lokke
ça fait pitié quand même
