Ouais, y a de quoi se demander ce que ça va donner quand même... Le peu que j'avais vu du concert en vidéo m'avait semblé assez "poussif'.

J'ai écouté quelques fois l'ensemble du concert. Plant est grand, Page un peu à la ramasse (mais il joue si peu... le live au Greek Theater est loin), Bonham se fait oublier, Jones est fidèle à lui même.

J'ose esperer qu'ils ne vont pas faire ça :

ED ZEPPELIN bassist John Paul Jones has spoken to BBC Radio Devon about reports that he, guitarist Jimmy Page and drummer Jason Bonham — following the band's one off appearance at O2 Arena, London last year — were planning to tour and record but without frontman Robert Plant.

Jones, speaking at a guitar show in Exeter, Devon, UK said: "We are trying out a couple of singers. We want to do it. It's sounding great and we want to get on and get out there."

According to BBC News, Jones said that he and the other members of LED ZEPPELIN did not want a mere copy of Plant. "It's got to be right," he said. "There's no point in just finding another Robert. You could get that out of a tribute band, but we don't want to be our own tribute band. There would be a record and a tour, but everyone has to be on board."

He added: "The most pleasure is making music. I love listening to it, but nothing as much fun as having an instrument in my hand and communicating with people."

He said preparation for the London show had been "very hard work", but everything had clicked on the night.

"It felt like the next night of the last tour."

Depuis 15 jours sa carrière fait un super bond en avant. Ils auront jamais les moyens de se le payer nos pauvres papies!
Un album avec Malmsteen ça te paie la retraite (ou ça t'y envoie... zut, je ne sais plus trop en fait)

Raising Sand vient de remporter le grammy de "meilleur album" (et pas mal d'autres), voila qui ne va pas convaincre Robert Plant d'abandonner dans sa voie actuelle et de retourner au hard rock.

Y'a pu qu'à armer les fusils au cas ou Page et Jones souillerais le nom de Led Zep en tournant sans Robert Plant.
